Team Trek

Ok, so we're just a team of two, with not much experience, and a German shepherd dog for our coach. You gotta start somewhere. Thanks to Melanie's Aunt Becky, we've added a new dimension to our fitness fun. We were inspired in Germany and have followed through with the inspiration. In fact we're thinking about entering a Duathlon in November (run, bike, run).

I can read your minds... you're all thinking... we know you two are fitness freaks, but when does Melanie get to come home? Am I close? Once again we have to wait for China (hmm imagine that). China must send us approval to adopt JinShun and approval to travel to China. Since we have been LID (logged into the system) for quite some time and they've already reviewed our file, we are guessing they will send one approval to cover both (that we can adopt her and we can now travel). When we get our TA (travel approval-which could take anywhere between 34-134 days) our agency calls the U.S. Consulate in China to schedule us an appointment. That is also part of what determines when we go. It depends on their next available appointment to get Melanie a visa to travel and other necessary documents.

So everyone can relax. Maybe go for a nice bike ride in the countryside and enjoy the view. You'll know when we're going to China. Believe me... ALL of you will know.
