Back to Cali

Some fresh air for everyone. We had been cooped up too long and all needed a change of scenery. Where is our favorite place to escape to? Yep, you guessed it ... San Diego. Melanie was able to be outside all day long and run in the grass and explore. It did her a world of good and put that cute little grin back on her face. She had her recheck with the doctor the day before and he said she was healing well and he didn't need to see her back until her 2nd birthday. The arm restraints can start coming off at our descretion, but we'll probably leave them on while she sleeps for another week or so.
Melanie would like to wish her Grandma Mary a "Happy Birthday" today! In the first picture she's holding out a tiny little daisy that she picked for you!
