Little swimmer

It's time to start some swim lessons. The gym that Melanie goes to for gymnastics also has an indoor pool and swim lessons from beginner up to swim team. They require kids with long hair to wear a swim cap so we gave it a try. No complaints once we got it on, the hard part was squishing it on her head. The first lesson left her in tears. The coach/teacher, Justin, was excellent with little kids. Melanie was just a little unsure after the first time he asked her to hold her breath and popped her under the water. She continued with the (30 minute) lesson and did everything he asked of her...she just cried for mommy while she did it. The other 2 moms told me that the first lesson for their kids was full of screaming and protest..they thought Mel did really well for the first time.
