Curly the Pig

Melanie got to bring home the class puppet "Curly the Pig" for a couple days. Curly brought along his favorite book to read and a journal to document his visit. Each child has a turn to take him home and write a little story with or without pictures. The teacher reads the story to the class upon return to school. Melanie made pancakes for Curly, took him on a bike ride, built a block tower, introduced Curly to all her stuffed animals, and read him his favorite story.
