A tiny bit of News

We have NOT received our TA yet, but today we received our PA. Most families at our stage of the game skip the PA (pre-approval) and have gone right to TA (travel approval). I guess China considers us special and doesn't want us to skip anything. We need to enjoy every single step of the way. Savoring each moment of the adoption process. Though the waiting is agony at times, we know at the end of this long journey is a little miracle from God. It is very hard to not let the wait consume us. These final stages are tough, especially with Christmas approaching and Melanie's birthday right around the corner as well. Not to mention Mark's block of vacation the two weeks before Christmas that he has to take. To look at the bright side...we have officially been approved to adopt Melanie JinShun. Yeah! We get to be her parents. Soon. The definition of "soon" is ever changing. I think it is similar to near future. One thing you can be sure of... when we get our travel approval, you'll know. All of you people everywhere will know. Hopefully it will be sometime before soon.
