Our Last Day in China
It's 7:15am here in Guangzhou and we're beginning the day which ends this journey. Mark's showering up and Melanie has our king bed to herself as she stretches and rolls around. We didn't really know what to expect before we came to China. Now we have a whole new perspective and understanding. God is amazing to create such a diverse world for us. We were reminded of what it's like to be different and stand out. Also that although we are different we each have so much to offer. There is so much beauty in the world for us to enjoy and many people God puts in our path. We've also been reminded of all the many blessings we have and of where we live. We thank God for teaching us patients and to know that waiting on His time brings huge blessings to our life. I've learned to rely on God more throughout this whole process, from the adoption to parenting. We have a really long day ahead of us. We ask for prayers for safe travel home and for God to give us strength and wisdom to deal with the stress of traveling. Melanie could use some prayers of comfort in her travels. We thank you all for your support and love. We will try to hurry home. If for some reason we would get through customs and immigration really quickly, we might try and catch an earlier flight out of LAX on Southwest Airlines. Just a thought, depending on how much time we have in LAX. See you soon.
